Gilie's Mediterranean: Experience Authentic Israeli Cuisine in Renton, WA

Tried lunch here today and was impressed by their Chicken Schnitzel and the various pickled sides served with it. Their Falafel (side dish) was fresh and tasty. Priced like fine dining, but still a treat.

If you're debating to go to gillies, absolutely go!!! The food is incredible, the Israeli- middle eastern flavors are there and the service and staff were so sweet. We will be coming back again and again to get their amazing food!

It was a welcome treat for everyone who wanted to eat out but keep Kosher. We were embraced by warmth and exceptional service from the moment we stepped inside. The menu may have been limited, but it offered the delightful shakshuka, which we excitedly ordered. With plans to expand the menu, the owner, Moshe, is ready to embark on a culinary journey that inspires. The bread and salad were not just accompaniments; they were a celebration of flavors that elevated the shakshuka experience. Each bite was a reminder of the beauty that comes from simple ingredients working in harmony. The shakshuka arrived with two generous servings of salad, adding to the joy of a truly memorable meal טָעִים מְאוֹד The only downside to our experience was the lack of freshly brewed coffee, as the only option available was an instant variety that we chose not to sample. Instead, we were provided with bottled water, but there were no glasses available for those who might prefer to drink from a cup. This left us feeling a bit disappointed, as a warm cup of coffee and a refreshing glass of water would have enhanced our experience. We will be back!!!

If you are looking for authentic shawarma, hummus kebab you won’t be disappointed. Awesome food and great service. Highly recommended

First time trying Israeli cuisine and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and visit tonight and felt very welcomed! It’s not a fancy-looking restaurant, but the quality is top notch. The owner told us they focus on Israeli street food. We even got to meet the owners, which were warm and so welcoming! We will definitely be back and bringing people with us. Price is about $25 per person if you get meat plates FYI.

They recently opened up this restaurant and wow, this is an amazing place. the owners Israel and Noa they are the sweetest! They are super friendly and super attentive to their customers! I was truly amazed at how many different options they had on their menu, I think I have tried almost everything on their menu! The vibe is so good and it just makes me want to keep going back! I even brought friends that never eat Israeli Mediterranean and they were blown away. Im so excited to finally have the first and only Kosher restaurant here in my city. i will most definitely be coming back often and I will be recommending people always!

Went on a Sunday at 1 and there were several families including ours. Great place for younger kids. The staff were very nice. The food was amazing, the first bite lets you know you were somewhere special. The food came out very quickly. We got the beef kebab plate and shakshuka plate. Came with all the sides in the picture. Shared that between myself, my mom, a 4 year old and a 2 year old. Clean bathrooms. Very casual dining atmosphere with great food.
